Bean Hot Dish

Makes 6 Servings (1-1/2 cups each)

Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 5 (15 oz.) cans beans

Instructions

Preheat oven to 300°F. In a nonstick fry pan, brown diced onions. Drain and rinse beans with water. In a large mixing bowl combine onions, beans and remaining ingredients. Bake 1 1/2 hours in a covered baking dish.
