Halibut and Roasted Vegetables

Lemon Garlic Halibut
1 fillet, cooked (3 oz.)

Roasted Vegetables with Rosemary
(chopped broccoli, onion, peppers, yams)
1 cup

Steamed Wild Rice
1 cup

Angel food Cake with Strawberries
1/12th slice
1 cup strawberries

Low or Nonfat Milk
1 cup

DASH Servings

2 Grains, 2 Vegetable, 2 Fruit, 1 Dairy, 2 Meat

Menu Tips

To roast vegetables: spray large baking sheet with cooking spray. Place vegetables on sheet, drizzle with 1 teaspoon olive oil and roast in hot oven until browned and tender. Toss during cooking for even browning. Add fresh rosemary halfway through roasting.

Mix wild rice and basmati rice for a colorful and aromatic treat.
