Sea and Caesar

Alison's Caesar Salad
2 cups

Broiled or Grilled Halibut
3 oz.

Baked Potato
1 small or 1/2 medium potato
1/2 cup low fat yogurt or sour cream

French Bread
2 slices French Bread

Kiwi with Sliced Strawberries
1 peeled and sliced Kiwi
1/2 cup sliced Strawberries

Low or Nonfat Milk
1 cup

DASH Servings

2 Grain, 3 Vegetable, 2 Fruit, 1.5 Dairy, 1 Meat

Menu Tips

Top halibut with fresh herbs such as rosemary or dill, fresh-squeezed lemon juice and fresh-ground pepper before broiling. Grill or broil until fish flakes with a fork, about 10 minutes per inch.

Top baked potato with yogurt and fresh-squeezed lemon juice, parsley, and pepper.

Mix sliced strawberries and kiwi together, or use whatever fruit you have on hand to make a fruit salad.

Try other fresh fish from your market: tuna, cod, rockfish, snapper, etc.
